At School Street we pride ourselves in our high standard for quality. This is why we only offer wood and metal mouldings and absolutely no plastic (with exception of Prisma Frames, our line of high end acrylic frames) or paper wrapped mdf. Each frame is carefully checked for flaws, sanded, assembled and filled to near perfection. Once finished, each frame is checked and rechecked before leaving our store.

Ed Perkins
Founder of School Street Picture Framing Inc.  With over 25 years of conservation picture framing experience, Ed has worked at W.C. Weatherbee & Sons, Picture This and School Street Picture Framing Inc.  Ed is highly experienced in conservation framing, stretching of needlepoint, canvas, apparel and memorabilia as well as troubleshooting unique framing projects.  Ed brings traditional styling and techniques to enhance your artwork.

Adam Perkins
With over 6 years of on job training in addition to 2 years schooling at Maine College of Art, for design and color theory, Adam brings an exciting and innovative perspective to your artwork.  Adam is highly experienced in design, custom designed mats and conservation framing. In addition, Adam is an accomplished oil painter who currently shows at the gallery ....by design on Harlow St. in Bangor.
